How to Hide Folders in Windows | How to View/Hide Hidden Files and Folders

 

Hide a File or Folder:

1. Right Click on any File or Folder which you want to Hide.
2. Click on the 'Properties'.
3. Now, click on General Tab and see Attributes.
4. Now, Check or Un-Check the Hidden Option.
5. Click 'Apply' and say 'OK'.
6. Now, you are done!!!

View or Hide Hidden File or Folder:

1. Click on "Tools" Menu and Press "Folder Options..." Button.
2. A Folder Options's pop-up will appear.
3. Click on "View" Menu or Press the Key => Ctrl + Tab.
4. Now See the option 'Hidden Files and Folders' in "Advanced Settings".
5. Check one option from the following options:     =>    Do not show hidden files and folders     =>    show hidden files and folders
6. Press "Apply" button then Press "Ok".
7. Now, you are done!!!
